About Us
Welcome to Skaha Lake Marine Mechanical, owned and operated by Jan Edmond and his wife Jacqueline. Jan has made Penticton his home for the last 30 plus years.
Jan’s expertise includes heavy duty mechanic, geophysicist, information technology, security technology, and a small aircraft pilot’s license.
In the spring of 2019 Jan secured a space at Skaha Lake Marina for his growing security business. Local boaters and tourists often walked into his shop inquiring about assistance with mechanical issues on their boats.
With Jan’s kind, helpful and curious nature he would help people to diagnose issues and do repairs which led to the evolution of the marine mechanical shop we are today, where we offer a full range of mechanical and upgrading services.
